Chapter Fifty-one (1/2)
Minghao's ceremony was next. The boy had a dream of art and pictures. There was no doubt about that as he has been painting since he can remember and loving to look at photos with his family. And that's why Joshua picked up his camera case and opened the case up. He smiled at the device and thumbed the screen gently. He put it back in, leaving the pictures on the SD card. Their memories ever since Minghao was made. Their memories that mean so much to the family. He zipped the case up and put the case in a gift bag. He put the family's signature pink and blue bow on the handles so that Minghao knows it's from the family. He put the gift bag with the other gifts on the table in the front room. This time around, the parents decided to have a little celebration at home, letting Minghao invite some friends over to eat with them after the ceremony. Of course, Dongwan and Jaemin's family were invited. Yeosang was in the background and Nana isn't anywhere to be seen. But she's there. Minghao looked down at his sapphire blue robe. He smiled and took it off to be comfortable in the house. He looked around and spotted a girl talking to Wonwoo. He walked closer to the secluded couple. "Hi," He waved, "I'm Minghao." He bowed. She bowed back. "Nana." She said quietly. "Minghao, this is my study partner." Wonwoo introduced her. Minghao looked at the older's serious eyes. He smiled and looked at her once more. "Thank you for keeping my hyung company. Please do enjoy yourself here." He said, bowing before walking off.
Seokmin looked around and spotted the crow he's been daydreaming nonstop about. He subtly pushed past some of Mingyu's friends and went to the male standing alone at the tea pitchers. "Hey," He tapped on the other's shoulder, "it's been a little bit, hasn't it?" Seokmin said. The crow smiled at the dove. "Hey.. Since Mingyu's graduation." He said. The two make eye contact, making Seokmin blush a bit. "How has home been, Sungjae?" He asked. "Lonely.. oh, but still cool." Sungjae put his hands to his sides. "I mean, I've made progress on the tunnel.. a little." He said. Seokmin smiled brightly. "You'll restore it fully in no time." He said confidently.
A little further away, Woozi spots his brother talking to Sungjae. Something in him makes him pout as they smile together. Something makes him clench his fists when they laugh. Something makes him stomp over there when he sees Sungjae's arm around Seokmin's waist. "Hey," He interrupted the couple, "you're loitering here, you know." He made an excuse. "You're right," Sungjae said, seeing the jealousy in Woozi's eyes, "should we go outside? The stars are coming out and I want you to join them." He said, turning back to Seokmin.
The dove blushed and let the other walk him away from the tea table. Woozi groaned and watched the two exit the house through the back door. Seokmin wanted to tell the other how much he misses him; how much he adores him; how much he wants to kiss him. Sungjae's in the same boat. Even with his arm around the dove, he still doesn't have the courage to tell him about his feelings. He fights kissing Seokmin as they watch the sunset. I'll get my chance.. Sungjae nodded to himself. I'll get my chance and give all of my love to you. "Let's fly together," Sungjae cautiously said. Seokmin turned to make eye contact with the crow, his eyes pinned on the other. "Fly high.." Seokmin was leaning closer until the back door opened. Seokmin made space between them and looked back at who was coming out. It was Seungkwan. "Hey, the gift-opening is about to start. Jeong-dad wants you inside." He said.
Sungjae pursed his lips and followed Seokmin into the house. Apparently, now isn't the chance.. He sighed inwardly.
Minghao sat in the makeshift throne his parents put together. Minghao gets present time first, then the other kids who graduated in his grade who have come here today. Each gift was something to do with art. Whether it be more paints or more canvases. He even got an easel! Next came time for Joshua's present. Joshua kind of felt bad that he was giving a present Seungcheol gave to him to Minghao. However, the proud look on Seungcheol's face proved otherwise. "Woah!" Minghao looked at the camera with big eyes. "Josh.." He looked at the brother with a wide smile.
Minghao looked through some of the pictures. He saw his siblings being young as well as himself when he came to the house. "I will treasure it and use it well, Hyung." He bowed. Jeonghan smiled as the children hugged. He looked back at Seungcheol. "Did you ever think it would be that way?" He whispered. "That Josh wouldn't be the one to use it in his major?" He asked. Seungcheol nodded. "I had a feeling," He back-hugged Jeonghan, "but whatever happened, I wanted to get my child the best I could." He kissed Jeonghan's neck. "And when Minghao wants something better, I'll get him something even better."
Jeonghan held the man's arms and watched the children be goofy. "Don't you think our house is growing?" Jeonghan whispered. "What do you mean?" Seungcheol asked as he watched the kids play with the things Minghao got. "We might have been done having children, but that doesn't mean our family stopped." Jeonghan stated. "Jaemin's added on and the kids have friends that they're so attached to. I just keep waiting for one of the friends to be a significant other." Jeonghan chuckled. Seungcheol hummed and nonchalantly looked at Nana in the distance. "And what if it is like that? What if another child is dating in secret?" He asked. Jeonghan shrugged. "I can't stop love, Cheol.. I'm just a parent who cares so much about their health and happiness." He admitted. "I don't want to let them go, but I know that they have to find their love alone. That's what I did." He said, looking back at Seungcheol a bit. Seungcheol kisses the younger lightly, making a warm feeling come to them. Jeonghan blushed and turned all the way to put his arms around his big teddy bear. "If my children can feel what I'm feeling one day, I'll be the happiest father alive." He whispered, pushing his face into the man's neck.
Yeosang furrowed his eyebrows as Woozi kept ignoring him. Even with everyone eating now, he can't help but have the urge to give up. He's been doing nothing but making the school hate me. Why do I still love him? Why am I wasting so much time on him? He shook his head as he nonchalantly exited the house. He sighed and looked at his red car in the dark. He felt the front end and closed his eyes. "Hey." He opened his eyes to see a familiar, short male near him. "Hey.." Yeosang spoke back. The first time they've actually spoken to each other since Yeosang graduated. The first time he heard Woozi direct his voice to him. Woozi walked quietly up to the taller, looking into his eyes despite it being so dark. "Be careful going home." He instructed. "It's not safe to drive at night." Yeosang nodded and gave a short bow. He unlocked his car and opened the door, making them light up together. "Can we sit down for a minute?" Woozi requested. Yeosang stared at the shorter for a moment. He then closed the door to open the back door, letting Woozi go inside first. He then closed the door behind him, sitting down next to the other crow. Woozi lets the light turn off before he clears his throat. "You didn't have to come tonight, you know." Woozi said. "I know, but I had Minghao in one of my classes. I wanted to be there when he graduated." Yeosang replied, looking down at his seat. "Was I not allowed to be here?" Woozi sighed and pulled the male's collar, forcing their lips together. "Kiss me, Idiot." He said, bringing the male down onto him, laying on the seat. Yeosang couldn't deny wanting to kiss Woozi. He couldn't deny that he wanted to invade his mouth or touch down his body; he even had the want to bite Woozi and claim him as his own. "I'm still yours, nothing's going to change that." Woozi said in gritted teeth. "Even though I won't go all the way?" Yeosang asked angrily. "Fuck that," Woozi said, tossing Yeosang's jacket over the driver's chair, "just do what you want, as long as it's you." He forced another kiss. Yeosang put his tongue in the older's mouth, earning those moans he's been dying to hear. Feeling the boy's chest down to his hips, pushing their clothed erections together. "I wanna fuck you so hard right now." Yeosang whispered his deep voice against Woozi's ear. "Do it." Woozi permitted. "I want to," Yeosang groaned, "but now's not the time." He lifted Woozi's shirt and stuck his head inside.
Woozi felt the teeth against his sensitive skin. He moaned and gripped the younger's hair tightly. "That's right, make me yours, Yeosang. Put your claim all over me." He said in an animalistic tone. The biting crow finally took himself out of the older's shirt after Woozi's whole torso was littered with bites. Yeosang wiped his lips before putting their lips together once more. "I need to get inside.." Woozi said. "I'll see you at school.." "I'll be your stalker forever, Woozi." Yeosang whispered. "I'll be ready soon, so please wait for me." Woozi nodded. "I will.. I have been.." He cupped Yeosang's cheek. "No one will be better than you." He bit Yeosang's lip. "Crows united." Yeosang smirked, letting the older tear his lips up. "The best combo," Woozi agreed, sucking on Yeosang's bottom lip, "better than that idiot crow holding my dove's waist." He said angrily. Yeosang hummed and opened the car door. "Get inside and clean your chest, it's bloody." He said. "Wear my jacket when you pass by." He offered. Woozi put the boy's jacket on. He lifted himself higher and kissed Yeosang once more before running into the house. Yeosang sighed happily as he fell back into the car, smiling at the throbbing in his heart.
"It was nice seeing you again, Sungjae." Seokmin said, smiling while they were nearing the front door. "Maybe I should give you my phone number so we can chat." Sungjae was about to agree when Woozi came into the house. "I'd like your number." Sungjae said with a smile. "No." Woozi took Seokmin's wrist and guided him upstairs.
Seokmin pouted, watching Sungjae until they turned on the landing. Woozi walked the younger into his room and sighed, closing the door. Seokmin kept his pout as he watched Woozi take Yeosang's jacket off followed by his shirt. "Holy shit!" Seokmin backed up. "What happened to you?!" He asked, looking over the boy's bloody torso. Woozi hissed, pushing Seokmin away. "They're just bite marks.. I met Yeosang outside.." He made the other quiet.
