Chapter 16 (1/2)
“I made a wish here too. Not too long ago. I wished to meet the girl of my dreams soon.” Yoochun smiled as BoA looked back at him.
“Aww Oppa. Never knew you were such a romantic.”
“Why? Want to date me?” Yoochun joked.
“Aish,” BoA frowned.
“What on earth are you two doing sitting at the side of the road on such a cold night?” a voice said.
They turned and saw Sunday smiling at them.
“Yah. You two are going to freeze to death here.” Stephanie growled.
“She’s being grouchy cause she needs her sleep.” Sunday whispered loudly.
BoA laughed while Yoochun just raised his eyebrow. He would laugh at her for being cute, but he won’t, cause she’s Stephanie.
Sunday hooked her arm over BoA’s as she pulled her along, while Yoochun and Stephanie walked behind.
Stephanie rubbed her palms in attempt to keep herself warmer. Yoochun notices and removed his leather gloves and held it out to her. Stephanie looked at him skeptically, but accepted nonetheless. She would rather accept it than let her hands freeze off.
She slipped his gloves over her hands as warmth quickly engulfed it. Yoochun’s warmth. She realizes how big his hands were as compared to hers as she smiled lightly to herself.
Yoochun noticed her smile but looked away as he blushed, remembering how he had stared at her in the wedding gown yesterday.
“AH!” Sunday screamed.
Yoochun and Stephanie looked up front, but Sunday and BoA were nowhere in sight.
“BoA? Sunday? BoA!” Yoochun shouted as fear caught in his throat. “No way this is happening. No no… not again.”
Stephanie stared at Yoochun wide eyed. “Micky shii, what’s happening? What do you mean again? We need to find them.”
Yoochun ran as Stephanie followed. “BoA? BoA?”
“Oppa!” BoA’s voice was heard coming from an alley.
“AHHHHH!” they heard a high pitched scream.
The two quickly ran towards their voices and saw that a masked man had a knife around BoA, while Sunday was pushed onto the ground.
Stephanie ran towards Sunday and wrapped her arms around her, as they glared at the masked man angrily.
“Let go of her,” Yoochun warned.
“Oppa…” BoA whimpered as the man held the knife closer.
“I said let her go.” Yoochun said louder this time, his voice laced with anger.
“Do you think everything has ended?” the man mocked as fear shone upon Yoochun, Sunday and Stephanie’s eyes.
“What are you talking about?” Yoochun said through gritted teeth.
“Don’t pretend that you don’t know what is going on Park.”
Yoochun froze. An enemy from the past? His heart leapt into his throat. This means that BoA is in a much more dangerous situation.
Yoochun clench his fists. Any movement made by him could cost BoA’s life.
“LET. HER. GO!”
“TSKTSK. Don’t get so worked up young man. Beware. This is just a warning. We will be back. Revenge is going to be oh so sweet.” The masked man laughed and pushed BoA towards Yoochun, before running away.
Yoochun held BoA as he checked her neck. “You ok?” Yoochun asked worriedly.
“I’m fine. Oppa. Just what is going on?” BoA frowned as the girls came over to fuss over her.
Yoochun shook his head. “Nothing. Nothing.”
“Oppa. When that guy grabbed me, I felt nothing.” BoA said quietly.
The rest listened but frowned, not knowing what BoA is trying to say. “Aren’t I supposed to feel fear?” BoA closed her eyes as she held her head.
“Uncle Woo, will you be ok by yourself?”
“We don’t know who’s the one that we are dealing with.”
“What if it’s meant to be a trap?”
“I said stop! I don’t want to hear anymore! I know what you are going to say! Just… stop…”
“You f*cking b*stard. Did you kill Uncle Woo?”
“BoA! BoA!” Yoochun shook her. “You all right?”
BoA opened her eyes as she felt her eyes grew hot. “Oppa… who is Uncle Woo?”
“Wh… what?” Yoochun frowned. “Did you remember something?”
“I… I don’t know. Sometimes I get this… scenes or voices flashing in my head.” BoA looked at him desperately. “Are there things that I need to know?”
Stephanie and Sunday exchanged worried glances.
Stephanie placed her arm over BoA’s shoulder. “Come on BoA. You’ve just got a knife under your throat. Let’s just get home first all right?”
Yoochun flashed Stephanie a grateful smile as BoA slowly nodded.
