CHAPTER XII (1/1)

The next day, Seohyun was so nervous since she did not want to meet Kyuhyun. She knew that Kyuhyun would be so stubborn and so, the best way was not to see Kyuhyun. At lunch time, Seohyun had her lunch at the canteen along with her friends. She chatted happily with Yoona, Sooyoung, and Yuri but sometimes, she would look around to see if Kyuhyun was there or not. Also after school time, she would look around to check the surrounding on her way out from the school. Yoona, who went home with Seohyun, was aware with her weird behavior and asked her, “Seohyun-ah, what’s wrong? You keep looking around from earlier. Are you looking for someone?” “No, Yoong. To be precise, I don’t want to meet with a particular person.” Seohyun said still looking around. Both of them were now already in the front yard of the school. “Huh? Are you avoiding someone Hyunnie?” Yoona confused of Seohyun’s words. “Yeah, I’m avoiding Kyuhyun Oppa.” “Wae? Is he done anything to you? Just let me know Hyunnie-ah, I’ll smack him.” Yoona said with determination on her eyes. “Relax Yoong. He do nothing wrong. It’s just me; don’t worry.” Seohyun then smiled to Yoona. Now, Seohyun and Yoona were already out from the school and so, Seohyun could relax that she succeeded in passing one day without encountered with Kyuhyun. Yoona knew there was something wrong but she did not want to ask Seohyun because she knew that Seohyun would not answer it. Yoona just knew where to ask the question.***While in Kyuhyun’s side,Kyuhyun already decided since the day before that he would search for Seohyun and asked her for explanation. He really confused of why she suddenly became cold to him. Kyuhyun couldn’t think of any reason of the sudden action. He still remembered the last time they met, Kyuhyun gave her a little turtle and she was very happy with it. Did the little turtle make some mess? ‘I’ll kill that turtle if it’s really the reason that Hyunnie mad at me.’ However, luck seemed not in Kyuhyun’s side. Kyuhyun reached school late because he couldn’t find his car key. Apparently, his father’s car was broken down and thus, his father used Kyuhyun’s car. Due to this, Kyuhyun needed to use their other car and he really took a long time to search for the car key since he had not been using that car for such a long time. As the result of getting late, Kyuhyun got detention after school again. At lunch time, he was called by the teacher council to discuss about the program proposal that he was once gave them. Kyuhyun cursed that day in mind because he couldn’t see Seohyun that day.***For that one whole week, Seohyun and Kyuhyun just kept busy with their student council schedule and also midterm exam. And so, Kyuhyun still couldn’t meet Seohyun. Seohyun seemed to avoid him for sure since she would leave her things to Yoona to be given to Kyuhyun while she was absence at the student council meeting. Kyuhyun has asked Yoona where Seohyun’s been but Yoona would just answer that Seohyun has been busy prepared for the competition and so, she couldn’t come. Seohyun felt happy that she didn’t encountered with Kyuhyun at school but at the other side, she also felt like something had missing in her. She did not know what it was and she prayed hoping that it wasn’t because of Kyuhyun. Every night that Seohyun looked at the little turtle that Kyuhyun gave her, she smiled to herself remembering at how Kyuhyun would act towards her. She still remembered the first time when she met Kyuhyun, she didn’t have a good first impression with him. She also never talked much with Kyuhyun since she thought that Kyuhyun would be similar with the other rich guy who would just happily use their parent’s money and be a jerk. She also has heard that Kyuhyun likes to bully people and so, she always avoided Kyuhyun because she didn’t want to be in trouble. However, as time goes by, she learnt to know more about Kyuhyun and that Kyuhyun was not that bad. She learnt that Kyuhyun really likes to tease her but being cold to other girls, especially Victoria. She also learnt that Kyuhyun sometimes like to be gloomy but she was happy when she could make Kyuhyun smiled again. She did not know why but seeing Kyuhyun smiled has made she felt warm and felt happy also. But still, Seohyun still denied her feeling towards Kyuhyun. “It can’t be that I fall in love with you, right?” Seohyun talked to the little turtle at her room. She never experienced this before and so, she did not want to admit it.***
