He keeps this to himself,  he has never once dared to tell his friends when they ask if he was doing anything after school so they can hang out. He said yes more times than no. Even when his parents ask where he has been Luhan would just say he was with friends. He usually looks around the forest for some strange objects and bring them home to save in his "treasure box".
