Family Outing is a variety show where in each episode, the "Family" travels to different parts of South Korea and takes care of the house of an elderly family while that family goes on a vacation. The "Family" then splits into teams and accomplishes the tasks left for them by the houses owners. He is also called the Grasshopper, the Dumb brother from the Dumb and Dumber pairing with Dae-sung and as part of the Nation Siblings with Lee Hyo-ri.Lee HyoriThe "female master" of the show and occasional MC. The Nations Fairy plays the role of the person who sometimes coincides with Yu Jae-suk, yet sometimes contradicts him and fools around. She is called the mom or madam, Former Fairy, and Nation Siblings with Yu Jae-suk. She also has a cat-lion relationship with Kim Jong-kook, while also frequently paired together with him for love lines (fictional romance).Kim Soo RoThe Game Devil of the show for his strong physical performances. He is one of the more strong and athletic family members when participating in games. He also enjoys picking on Lee Chun-hee, acquiring the title Stepmother Kim. Due to his occasional childish and playful antics, he gained the title Little Boy Su-ro.Yoon Jong ShinThe old man of the show, he always needs the care and attention of the rest of the family members. He is viewed as the best at "making the seasoning" for cooking on the show. He is often called sickly, old man, and Forty Brothers with Kim Su-ro.Kang Dae SungFar from his national-idol-Big Bang image, assists Yu Jae-suk in gags and is seen as a younger brother to him. Hes called the Dumber brother with Yu Jae-suks Dumb and Dumber. He is also called Small Eye Brothers with Kim Jong-kook.Kim Jong KookFrequently called "Kim Kook-jong" on the show, particularly when being teased by Yu Jae-suk and Lee Hyo-ri. Originally having an awkward relationship with Lee Hyo-ri, and eventually Park Ye-jin, they later develop into "romance scandals". He also retorts Yu Jae-suk and Yoon Jong-shin.Park Hae JinSeen as a Delicate Boy because of his weak physical performances in games and "Wake-Up Missions". He constantly retorts Yu Jae-suk. He is sometimes called the unlucky man because of his constant failures during games. He is occasionally coached by Kim Jong-kook to develop strength.Park Ye JinOriginally seeming as a pleasant, sweet lady, she later shows her true colors as the Sweet and Vicious or Sweet and Savage Miss Ye-jin through her nonsense and tenacious ways in preparing fish and chickens for meals, as well as her bravery towards capturing them.Lee Chun HeeInhabiting the image of Chunderella and Clumsy Chun-hee, he originally appeared to be a strong player, but was later determined to be naive and clumsy.
