My Air
I never finished watching Doctor Stranger. I only saw it to episode 5 and then read the recaps. Even in the recaps I fell in love with the quack couple Oh Soo Hyun and Park Hoon. I decided to change most of the story so it’s mainly soo hyun centric. Park Hoon’s past is still the same. He met Jae Hee in North Korea and everything is basically the same as the drama except there’s no double spies or scheming politicians. Jae Hee was saved from the concentration camp by Soo Hyun’s uncle (you’ll find out who he is later). Once Hoon saw Jae Hee, he acts like himself and the two start dating again but Jae Hee knows that he has feelings for her roommate even if he denies it. Foreword“Can you believe it Jae Joon-shi. We’ve been dating for a year now.” Soohyun smiles at her adoring boyfriend. Jae Joon smiles more now and he seems genuinely happy. Soohyun is also happy because she was able to fully appreciate Jae Joon and wasn’t stuck to Hoon anymore ever since he rejected her. Jae Joon takes her to a small cafe in the countryside. “This was my mom’s cafe.” He says smiling at the memories. Soohyun was touched at Jae Joon’s gesture. He gently holds her hands. “Will you, Oh Soo Hyun, marry this stupid lovesick fool?” “Yes.” That one word was all Jae Joon could hear. He was super ecstatic and could not contain his excitement. Later that night both couples met up for a double date. “Oh Soo Hyun, you seem happier than usual tonight. Tell us the good news.” Jae Hee asks her roommate as she is practically beaming. Soo Hyun looks at Jae Joon before announcing the news of their marriage. “ We’re engaged!” she exclaimed. Jae Hee froze for a moment thinking about how Hoon would react. She turned to look at him. “Congratulations! It was about time, don’t you think. Next it’ll be ours.” Hoon whispers the last part to Jae Hee. Jae Hee just smiled weakly wondering if Hoon was that deep in denial. “Jae Hee-ah.” Jae Hee turned to the sound of her name. Soo Hyun looks at her, “Will you be my bridesmaid?” Jae Hee found herself nodding. She always felt grateful towards Soo Hyun. She was always such a forgiving and kind person. She forgave me for not telling her my real identity, she forgave Hoon for leading her on, and she forgave Jae Joon for being vengeful. She really is a great person.
