(Warning: might over-ridiculize things) AU. You never thought youd be sitting in a throne, hand in hand with Prince Baekhyun. But there you were, all dolled up in an uncomfortable dress, as you gazed out at the people celebrating your engagement. Of course, it was all a lie. You were actually asked to play his pretend fiancée to avoid a bigger issue. But since things did not play out like destiny had planned them, a turmoil of disaster, complots, and lies now awaited you. Warning.This is my first multi-chap ever, and my first story in this site, so bear with me. Please. And now, onto what I really wanted to make you aware of: this is a slight crack fic. Ive always wanted to write one of those, and today I thought: why not? Crack fics usually have a bit of everything in it, and are sort of... crazy. So expect some ridiculous things, random stuff. Anything except fantasy stuff, because I dont want to make this into such a crazy story. Hopefully, I didnt discourage you from reading with this warning of mine. Also, the country where this takes place can be just anywhere. It can be any country that you like, but it will have a constitutional monarchy in it. Start.1. You: a mature, responsible high school senior, granddaughter of Strange Shops owner, a place where every material object a client needs is found. You tend to be insecure, and therefore, easy to manipulate, a trait that youve lately been trying to change. However, youre brave and tend to face your problems square on. 2. Baekhyun: the bright and confident crown prince. Even though hes friendly to anybody, its not easy for him to open up to just any person. He is happy with being the future king, but is afraid to meet the challenges of that position, and especially... to grow up.3. Krystal: the very cunning Duchess of the North. Shes a hypocrite, and is only nice to you whenever she needs something from you. However, deep, deep, deep down in her soul, she has a conscience. 4. Xiumin: your trustworthy best friend. Hes an odd character, but when needed, he can turn into a serious person. Hes a total genius, having graduated high school with honors when he was just fifteen.5. Luhan: your manipulative ex-boyfriend, probably the source of all your insecurities.
