The realm of Light was ruled by a benevolent power, who gave freely to the people of its world. In a fit of jealousy over the Lights solitary rule, four beings of Dark killed the Light, tearing it to pieces and scattering it about the world so that it could never return. Then they turned humans against one another, sewing mistrust and hatred into the hearts of men, rewarding those who would turn in worshippers of the Light.
