No way. “H – He’s…?” “Back,” the voice on the phone finishes his sentence. “He was spotted at the airport just a couple minutes ago.” If he’s messing with me right now… “I didn’t know he was coming back today.” “He wasn’t supposed to. Nobody knew.” Both panic and worry slowly start creeping up. “His eyes… How were his eyes?” Chanyeol hopes it doesn’t show in his voice. “What?” Oh come on. “How did he look?” Chanyeol snaps. “Hmm… He was wearing sunglasses, so I don’t really know,” his friend’s voice turns apologetic. “I’m sorry.” Chanyeol sighs but doesn’t say anything. He’s back? He’s really back? His heart races and he suddenly feels extremely warm. “I’ll call you once I found out more,” the other says, and then he cuts off the call, leaving his friend to let him listen to the monotone beeping noises coming out of the phone.
