⚔word:kill It is the year 75 AD. The 75th year After Destruction.The map of the world is no longer recognizable. Some countries have vanished completely off the face of the planet, and some have broken off entirely. some have fused with another, none have stayed the same. Where there used to be seven continents, there are now only four unnamed ones, of which one is inhabitable. None of them are conjoined to one another and there is now only 10% of land mass on the entire planet.The Eastern continent is where this story takes place.The largest city in this continent is split into three different levels: Aboveground, Level, and Deepground. Level is where most of the population resides. Aboveground, a large mass of land levitated in the sky through unknown means, houses the government, the wealthy and the powerful. Deepground… well, no one really knows who or what goes on in Deepground.In the very heart of Level is an area simply known as the Precinct. It gets very little sunlight on account of being directly underneath Aboveground, and so is always cold and gray. It’s inhabitants are also cold and gray, and there is no light left in the eyes of the old ones. Sometimes ashes fall from the sky, and nobody knows why. Every evening dark figures appear in the streets and take children away. Nobody knows why.The slums are the place where people go to escape from their past. The slums are also where they inevitably meet them again. Thrown rather unceremoniously together in this hostile environment are a group of strangers: a rabbit-eared sugar addict, a silent ex-assassin, a girl who doesnt know how to smile and a boy with a gun on the end of his arm. some are looking to forget and some are looking for nothing, but all of them are running from something. Even, unknowingly, from each other.
