Baekhyuns that type of teenager who mingles with the weird crowd and doesnt really give effort to blend in. He likes his obscene snapbacks, fandom shirts, hoodies, and Vans sneakers, likes reading manga and watching anime, staying on tumblr and on weird fanfiction sites 24/7, breathes horror movies, is married to his laptop and is on a love-hate relationship with the wi-fi-- be it his own or the neighbours. Hes also that type of teenager whos naive and prone to easily believing what people will say to him. So he gets his first heartbreak from his little crush on that foreign kid in the basketball varsity team. And it hurts, really. Infinitely more so than the fanfictions and manga ever depicted. Its so cliché how he almost slipped as he ran away when his crush rejected him coldly, and he feels so stupid and worthless he just wants to cry (and he does). It feels like someones crushing his heart with a strong, deathly grip, and hes having difficulty breathing. But then this weird, giant-eared boy with his magic tricks and goofy grin and deep baritone voice comes striding up to him while hes crying in a dark corner of some vacant classroom he found. Baekhyuns about to tell him to go fuck off but then the boy shushes him with literally a finger pressed on his lips, and he moves his hand in such a quick manner Baekhyun wasnt able to process much. All he knows is that in the next moment, hes got a pretty yellow tulip tucked behind his ear, and he blinks in confusion at the boys retreating figure.Because in the language of flowers, a yellow tulip meant "there is sunshine in your smiles", and hes not exactly sure how to respond to that.
