I was during my anime/manga phase and of course, regretfully Twilight as well. There was this girl who was new to the school and she and I became fast friends over our love for anime/manga. Originally, Blood by Birth never had a title and back then it used to be a doujinshi (fan-manga/comic). Everything back then was set in Japan, so I revived it a several years ago as a fan-fiction. We sort of knew how it would come to an end, but sadly, we never completely finished or started the series due to the fact she moved back to Taiwan.
