The lives of twelve girls at Seoul High School are inadvertently intertwined in a mess of jealousy, betrayal, friendship, and pain as they each struggle to find the meaning of true happiness and their own identities. Only through a journey of confusion and heartbreak do they being to believe that the fairytale book sort of love cannot exist in this world. Blinded to what really matters, they cant seem to realize the only one solution to all of their problems, the key to happiness and love.  Meet the Twelve Meet the three most popular girls at Seoul High: Tiffany, Jiyeon, and Jessica. Extremely attractive, intelligent, and wealthy, these three senior girls are the main topic of gossip of both girls and boys alike. Their families, each of them heading large corporations, are well-known beyond the boundaries of the school. They are basically comparable to celebrities, causing boys to fall for them left and right and girls wishing to be just like them. Tiffany is widely accepted to be the leader of the group with the most forthcoming personality. Jiyeon speaks more with her eyes, and Jessica is regarded as the most calm and rational.Sooyoung is the hardworking and humble barista at the Cafe Latte a few blocks away from the high school. She carries the burden of supporting her widowed mother and younger sister. After school, she has to work four hour shifts on week days and even longer hours on weekends. She often finds herself without time to even rest. This year is especially hard for her when she finds herself employed under a new manager and supervisor.Gina, once a part of the popular group of girls, is widely known for her compatible personality and gorgeous visuals, but her past relationship with the bad-boy in the school left her in pieces and her reputation in shambles. Unable to get over the past, Gina cant stop thinking about Yongguk and doesnt even realize that her friendships are falling apart around her. In the midst of all these troubles, she meets somebody who is able to pull her out of this mess.Nana is the schools walking barbie doll. Shes a professional ballerina and spends most of her free time in the dance studio. The majestic aura about her separates her from the other students who find her rather unapproachable and closed off. In reality, Nana is going through a rough time at home now that her parents are on the verge of divorcing. While she tends to keep to herself at school, she can be a pretty wild person when it comes to partying.Hara is the new fourth-year international student from America. Since the minute she set foot in the school, her fellow peers have been watching her every move. Many boys have been admiring her from a distance, without the courage to actually approach her. The girls, on the other hand, have been scrambling to drag her into their own cliques of friends to gain some popularity. Suzy and Krystal are third-year students known to be bestest of friends. While Suzy is an aspiring artist, Krystal is an aspiring fashion designer. They have always complemented each other well. Childhoood friends since they were just toddlers, the two of them grew up by each others side and are practically inseparable. But things are about to change this year when their relationship meets a huge bump in the road. Eunji is the voice of Seoul High. Like 2hyun (introduced later), she has many fanboys at school who swarm around her. Despite her fame, she is known to be a humble and genuine character with a cheery personality and lovely smile. However, she is also very susceptible to mood swings, and sometimes the littlest things can throw her into the biggest fits. This year she is helplessly in love with the boy whose voice matches perfectly with hers.Seungyeon is the quiet girl who doodles in class while the rest of her classmates fool around. She doesnt seem to pay attention to anything thats going on, but even when the teacher calls on her out of nowhere, she is able to produce the correct answer in a rather disinterested voice. Shes a real thinker and is known to be the smartest girl in school, but she often finds herself estranged from the others.The youngest of the twelve, second-year student Jinri (Sulli), just transferred from a smaller high school this year. Without much experience and unused to such an imposing atmosphere, she has been kind of hovering around in the halls without much of a presence yet. In time, the two players of the school take her under their wing, and to put it simply, she is in for a roller coaster ride. Meet the Others The two most popular and wealthy guys at school are fourth-year students Kris and Jongin (aka Kai, but nobody dares to call him that without explicit permission given by himself). These two are said to have the coldest exteriors so most people are afraid to approach them. Even so, they are admired by all the students at Seoul High. Their true personalities and talents are still unknown as of yet. And you should also take note that the two of them are never on good terms with each other even if their families are well-affiliated with each other (only because of business purposes though).  Yongguk has the worst but biggest reputation in Seoul High for being a bad guy. People only listen to rumors about him though; nobody dares get close enough to him to know what hes actually like. The rumors say that he treats girls like objects, that he has no parents, that hes abusive, and that the only reason hes still in school is because the principal is a distant relative of his. This is Yongguks third year in high school, and hes determined to finally drop out.Changmin is the new manager of the Cafe Latte and the nephew of the previous owner. He is a college drop-out who decided to go full time into the working world. His current girlfriend is Park Narae, a first-year college student. Changmin is known for his voracious appetite and total addiction to food. He has a harsh and unrelenting personality that tends to put people off. Woohyun and Sunggyu are infamous for being the two players in the school. Even if they are known for constantly breaking and playing with hearts, girls cant help but fall for them over and over again. They may have extremely sweet personalities, but dont be easily fooled. Who knows what they are hiding up their sleeves?2hyun is the schools most popular performing group, consisting of Seoul Highs biggest heartthrobs Baekhyun and Daehyun (both fourth-year students). Known respectively for their honey and powerhouse vocals, these two are often found strolling through the halls with trails of fangirls at their feet and piles of presents in their arms. Since it is difficult to catch some alone time with them, they dont seem to make close acquaintances with their peers.X-ing is the other big performing act of Seoul High, consisting of the three dancing machines Yixing (fourth-year), Howon (third-year), and (their newest adidtion and first-year student) Jongup. They seem to be easier to befriend compared to 2hyun despite their rather shy personalities, which are immediately tossed away when they begin to dance. They literally speak and capture hearts with their moves. Besides dancing, Jongup is also known to be a violin prodigy, and he spends a lot of time alone to play when he isnt dancing. Dongwoo and Sungyeol, both third-year students, are the two (self-proclaimed) biggest nerds at school. They are always found with their noses in textbooks or their eyes glued to a computer or television screen and hands rapidly firing away on keyboards or controllers. People often judge them as being the lowly and unpopular boys at school and only take advantage of them by asking for help with homework, but once you get to really know them, youll find them to be the most genuine and fun-to-be-around boys at school.Chanyeol is the schools most renowned class clown. He has pulled numerous pranks on teachers and students alike and somehow manages to get away with all of them. He is widely loved for his playful personality and enchanting goofball smile. But this year, fourth-year student Chanyeol finds himself meddling in not-so-innocent affairs and almost gets expelled.The most quiet and mysterious boy in the school is third-year student and professional photographer Myungsoo, who is always seen with his expensive camera in hand. He seems to value his camera more than anything or even anybody else. He often spends time alone, snapping shots outside in the schools beautiful campus or in the city, which he probably knows best out of all the students. This year he will take on a project that leads him on the search for the one.Flower boy Jinyoung has been dubbed "The Prince" of Seoul High. He is basically everybodys secret crush and is a professional guitarist. Hes a sweetheart to all the girls in the high school, but he tries his best not to play with hearts like the player couple Woogyu. Still, he ends up breaking many hearts this year when he finds himself entangled in a relationship with an older girl who doesnt attend Seoul High. The visual couple of the school is HunHan (Luhan and Sehun). They are practically glued to each others side and loved by all the students. This year both of them manage to become presidents -- the first time in Seoul Highs history that two presidents took office. If you took a walk down the halls, youd see pictures of them taped to the walls and even inside locker doors.
