Although he is known as the popular boy with good looks, athletic abilities, nice personality and musical talent, he is failing academically which doesn’t seem to matter to his admirers. He only lives alone because his father lives in another district under the reason of work after his mother died about three years ago.  Other Characters Gil EunhyeJunhoe’s childhood friend who has a long-term crush for him; explains why she keeps following him at school and nags the female schoolmates who try to approach him. She is the most popular girl in school, who came from a wealthy family and is titled ‘High School’s Princess’ because of her allure and good fashion sense. Lee ChanChan is known as the school’s nerd; books and no friends, minus the big nerd eyeglasses. He is actually very friendly, fun and also has a sense of humor behind his nerd-like behavior at school – it’s just everyone aren’t able to see that. Choi JinhoJinhee’s dorky older brother; he is known as the mood maker in the family. It took him a while to recover from his parents’ death, but he soon picked himself back together after getting along with his uncle whom he lives under the same roof with. He looks careless and very annoying on the outside, but is very kind and protective under the surface. Choi DanielJinhee and Jinho’s maternal uncle; and becomes their legal guardian after their parents died. He is the younger brother of their mother who is a formalist and holds the ignorant look on the outside, but he is a truly loving and sensitive man in the inside. His sister once asked him to be her children’s guardian if something ever happens to her and her husband, and although at first he rejected it, he eventually agreed to fulfill her wish. Kim MingyuJinhee’s ex-boyfriend; they have known each other since they were in playground. He is kind, popular, and everything but indestructible. He is very easy to be manipulated which often results to misfortune and regrets including losing his beloved girlfriend, Choi Jinhee. Hwang AerinMingyu’s schoolmate and self-proclaimed girlfriend; she is a devil hiding behind sweet demeanor. It’s written with all my heart because of my dying love for the diva who is afraid of water, height and bugs – Goo Junhoe. I’m aware that he has a sister and I love her very much as well, but he meant to be alone (let’s exclude Jinhee and his friends for a while) in this story.This might sounds weird, but the idea of this story came while I was watching KBS2’s drama, ‘Orange Marmalade’.
