Songfic.  Ryeowook and Kyuhyun are about to enlist for their mandatory service time and the realization that they will be separated for two years suddenly hits them.  How will they handle being apart for so long when theyve been together for so many years?   ForewordWhy I wrote this story:I was browsing through Tumblr and someone (kyuteminwook) had put together a compilation of snippets of Ryeowook singing live and I was listening to it, since I love his voice as much as Kyuhyuns.  Then I heard the English lyrics, "I need you to stay" and I thought...what song do I know that from?  I know that song!  I stopped the music and thought about it a moment.  AHA!  Its from a favorite song of mine called Open Arms by Journey.  I had no idea that Ryeowook sang this at one point, so I looked it up and found that he sang it in concert with Onew, Chen, and Baekhyun.  I listened to it and I was so damn impressed, I had to hunt down an audio version.  Hunt completed, my thoughts turned to writing, as they typically do.  But thats not the entire story...I have some strong ties to this song.  My brother was in the military several years ago and was about to be sent off to a warzone.  Before he left, I happened to pick up the sheet music for this song and had begun to learn to play it on the piano.  Now, Im not the best piano player (Im better at flute), but I slowly worked at it and he was teasing me that it took him two weeks to figure out what the hell I was trying to play.  Anyway, long story short, I found that in the year he was gone, I often played and practiced this song.  I think, for me, playing music was a way of dealing with the loneliness and was a way of expressing sadness.  So, needless to say, when I think of this song, it reminds me of people parting because of the military, but the song was written, I think, about a singer leaving their lover.  So it is fitting for our two boys, more than anyone.  Hence, the current songfic...  And, if you havent listened to the song, heres a link to watch it on YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0sTpC2sUyY
