It happened in spring, when flowers are blooming beautifully, birds chirps more than they usually were and most importantly, it was when love is in every corner of the world. The air feels sweeter, the world seems warmer and brighter. It might seem exaggerating, but it doesn’t seem that way to a particular girl. This particular girl has been waiting for her man for a year since they last met. He is an heir of a well-known company placed in America. He usually would come every week, and sometimes he even bring his work with him so they can spent more time together! He’s a busy man, that’s for sure. And he’s even busier now with all the global and economic situations Today is the day they promised to meet.  The girl has just done her job, and she knew she will be late for their meeting. She checked on her phone, it has 10 missed calls. She rush her way to their meeting place, ignoring the cold wind of night spring that slapped her face and tangled her hair. Her workplace-which was her mother’s florist shop-was not terribly far from her apartment. So she arrived there less than 5 minutes. There wouldn’t be anyone in the park this time of the day. Well, beside her prince-charming. The park placed just across the street. She just have to wait for the road sign to turn it’s color from red to green. Although here were no car passing by, she still waited. It was a good opportunity to plan on how to approach him. Maybe she could sneak up on him, but it usually doesn’t work. He always noticed her, even before she greeted him. She saw him from across the street. His golden hair sparks like silver threads around his head. When he noticed she was staring at him, he smiled. She suddenly felt nervous. His smile always does that. As soon as the light turned green, she immediately took her first step. She has to urge herself to calm down so that she didn’t throw herself right into his arm. She saw his lips moving, I missed you.... It makes her heart jumps a beat that she stopped her track. I missed you too... she mouthed back and he smiled again. She was just started to resume her walk when a very bright light strike in the corner of her corner eyes. Everything went silent and slow as she turn her head to the light’s direction. The last thing she saw was a truck heading her way.  *** Luhan was dumbfounded What just happen...? He lift himself off from the body beneath him.. He managed to push her away from the truck... wait, why is his hands wet...?  “Soomi?” his voice is hoarse, his heart pounds rapidly “Soomi?” There was no answer. Her body is a dead weight under him. Blood gushed out from her head  and spread around the pavement. He quickly took out his cell phone from his pocket and dial a contact. When he finished, he threw his phone back into his pocket and quickly check on her again. She’s still unconscious and her heartbeat began to slow down. He hovered on top of her and patted her cheek gently. “Soomi” his voice trembled. Her eyes fluttered open with a frown. She must have come to realize the pain behind her head because she slightly opened her mouth to question it. “Everything would be alright” She smiled faintly. How can she still be smiling? “Luhan” she cupped his cheek with her trembling hand, her voice is weak “Will I be okay?” Yes. The statement left hanging at the tip of his tongue. He know he was lying to her and to himself. He didn’t answer her, and try to distract her  “just hold it a little longer, the ambulance will be here soon” As if on cue, an ambulance turn at the corner and stopped infront of them. It was chaotic and yet it all seems in slow motion for soomi.
