Jina is, was, actually, a Shawol. She was someone who had a say in the fandom, and whose website was among the most visited fansite internationally. Naturally she was given many opportunities to interact with her idol - the adored Kim Key. The birthday events held in the agency and distributing of lunches backstage, heck she even had his number. She had always been there for him, way before everything started. She was one of SHINee’s first fans, before they even debuted.Jina knew everything about his life as an artiste under SM Entertainment. They had been drinking once and Key spilled everything out; how he was beaten by Lee Sooman for spraining his ankle during training, how they script every single word they say on television, and how, they, mere humans, were supposed to be invincible and perfect. She knew so many things that even fellow artistes in the industry were ignorant of. SHINee was not close in the least bit. Jonghyun and Shin Sekyung was a publicity stunt. Taemin had no idea what he wanted in life. Onew was so, so, depressed. Minho had dated at least a member from every girl group. Key was exhausted, so much so he stopped trying. The once formidable triple threat, was now someone who dabbled in fashion, who couldn’t care about anything but airport pictures. He stopped singing and dancing like he used to, he lost his spark and was not interested in the least bit of regaining it. He was tired.That was the very reason Jina decided to stop everything. The profit from every photobook she sold would go to buying albums and digital singles, and donating rice in the name of SHINee. She did not have a job and was always in front of the computer, editing photos and compiling them, often she would sleep at 5 am discussing with the manager about food support for the event in the afternoon. She was a supporter, and she did not want to support the hell of an industry no more. It was a tough move for her, having dedicated half a decade of her life to an artiste who had so many more supporters, and so she thought, even if she had stopped, there would still be so many teenaged girls out there willing to do everything for them. They wouldn’t starve. But what she wanted was for them to be emancipated from the shackles of the entertainment industry; for the burden of being an idol to be lifted off them.Song Jina had something in mind, but did not have a plan.
