“Just a little tweak here” Beep… “Add some more wiring here” Beep beep… “One more thing” Vrrrrrrrrrr. “It’s happening!” The metal being started to lift its head, trying to look at something. “It’s moving! It’s moving!” The being heard this and tried to identify the source of the noise.  “Over here. Open your eyes. Look for the light.” It understood the words but took a minute for it to do the action. There was a man with a beard standing in front of them. “Slow to respond. Tighten the screws in its neck.” Movement behind the being and a tightening feeling in the back of their neck struck the being and it moved to look around. “That was better.” The being looked back at the man. “State your MAKE and purpose.” It didn’t understand for a minute before an electrical wave went to its head giving it information that it needed. “A.M.B.E.R and my purpose is to serve.”  ForewordThis is my first story back so Ill be working on it while finishing the rest.
