Park Jin Ae is a straight-A student, sweet, bubbly, and generally friendly with everybody. Lee Byunghun is a quiet boy who keeps to himself, only talking to a certain few, and overall, a very mysterious character. The idea that the two of them had ever been friends - let alone the closest of friends - was absurd and didnt seem possible. No, no one knew of their past - the times they shared lollipops, secrets, and stories, the times they went out to play, their sleepovers, nothing. It is now their final year of High School and College entrance exams are looming around the corner. He was my source of laughter. He was my ear when I needed to vent. He was my best friend. We had met on the very first day of Elementary school and became inseperable ever since. There were many times in which our parents had to almost literally drag us home because we never wanted to part. We had shared everything and he had meant the world to me and I was so sure that I had meant just as much to him. But something and someone had managed to penetrate our bond, tainting it with something that resulted in what we call present time. I am now in my senior year of High School and we havent acknowledged each other in the halls let alone spoke to each other since weve first stepped foot inside during our freshman year. You may be wondering how that all changed, how all those years of friendship suddenly dissolved, like sugar in hot water. I ask myself the same question everyday, never able to forget what once was and what now seems will never be.What happened to me? What happened to us? More importantly, what happened to Lee Byunghun, my best friend?I think Ive officially gone crazy. Im already juggling a billion ongoing fics and here I go starting a new one. To be honest, this one isnt planned at all and so this fic is just something Im typing as the ideas come to mind.
