It’s only a problem when you forget where dreams end and the real world begins.” I bet almost all of you at least once had a daydream to have such a big chance to go study abroad as an exchange student, especially to the country and the school your biases are attending, while yawning at the boring lessons. So this story is about a lucky girl, actually, lucky was just half of the reason, neither did her intelligence. She was a hard-working girl, who unfortunately was born in a poor family. Even though she had to spend almost all the time afterschool at her family’s small food stall on a hustle and bustle street of her City and another part-time job. But with a high spirit of diligent student, she stayed up late every night to study. And finally, her hard work was repaid meritoriously: She was awarded the scholarship from Elite High School, a well-known Korean International High School. Her two favorite idols were also the seniors there. Not only just students, they were the most famous couple and the representatives for Elite in all sides. It was the book she liked the most, a fanfiction book titled ‘Daydream’, talking about a girl who was luckily received a scholarship and went to Korea. That was always her biggest dream. Like every day, she stood still in front of the billboard to look at it for a while: “Elite High School – Where your dreams come true’. She turned completely to face it. Looking at the lovey dovey couple on the ads smiling at her, she smiled back but with a slight sigh, then nodded as an agreement with her poor life. “This is the real world… Oppa, eonni, you’re so lucky to be born in that luxury world!” Beanie not only wasn’t jealous of them but also took them as role models. Their life was like a target for her to dash forwards. Even though she knew it was such a big vain hope, she wouldn’t give up. “See you tomorrow, oppa, eonni!”, Beanie waved to the two idols of hers on the board and headed towards home.
