The following story was inspired by a true encounter. Im not using the models real name because hes just starting out. I chose Lee SooHyuk to play him because they have a similar image/aura. Have fun reading! ForewordOur first meeting? Though it wasnt anything special, I can never forget. It was at my first fashion show. I sat in dark, he walked in the light. I wasnt sure if it were just the bright lights or if he really looked straight at me when he got to the end of the runway. Out of all the models there, I dont know why he caught my eye. After the show, we briefly met backstage; rather, I noticed him sitting in a corner. Our eyes met for a millisecond when I walked in. During that time, I tried to memorize his face, who knows if Ill ever be able to meet him again? In the days after the show, no matter how much I searched, I never found him. I knew his name, SooHyuk Lee, but that was all. Everytime I asked someone, searched it online, nothing. There werent even any photos. All I can do to relieve this feeling that I cant get rid of, is to replay his walk on the runway, his expression when our eyes met, his voice when he spoke. But that wasnt enough. I needed to break into the industry to find him. This was how I, Jung Sia, decided to become a model.
