ForewordIntroductionWord Count: ~ 300Kyungsoo walked slowly down the street, constantly looking over his shoulder and scanning for things wandering about. There had been a series of attacks in the night around his neighbourhood and he had stayed out really late. It was a mistake and he really should have stayed the night at his friend, Joonmyun’s, house like he had asked. Joonmyun was worried that Kyungsoo might get attacked as he walked through the neighbourhood but Kyungsoo said that he would be fine.The signature of the attacks was that the victims could not remember the attack and the only damage done to them were two bite marks on their neck and severe, untraceable blood loss. There was no type in particular that the attacker targeted. The victims were all found on park benches, sleeping peacefully, smiles on their faces, and their hands folded peacefully over their chests. That was all anyone knew about the attacks. No one had ever seen the attacker either. There were never witnesses.Kyungsoo scampered between the puddles light cast from the street lamps. Up ahead, one of the lights was flickering and he saw a young lady, probably about the same age as him, university age. She was leaning against the lamppost, shivering in fear, looking at some unknown entity just outside of the reach of the light. The lights all around began to flicker and Kyungsoo’s heart stopped.The light around him and around the girl went out, leaving only the black of midnight on the night of a full moon. Suddenly he heard something rustling in the bushes. He heard a short gasp of surprise before silence. He stared at the place where the girl had just been and he found himself staring into glowing silver eyes. That was all he saw before they glowed violet and he fainted.
