There it was. His voice. The voice that was light at the end of a dark tunnel. For so long, I had wished to hear that voice again and now that I had, I could feel it wrapping itself around me, enclosing me in its warmth. ForewordThis is the first time I ever completed a story that I had in mind. Even though it is really short, I hope you enjoy it. I was inspired to write this when I was listeing to Brian Enos ambient music, An Ending (Acsent), more specifically. So if you want, you can listen to it while you read this short story. This is technically a one-shot but there are two parts to this story. To be honest, this is less of a complete story and more of the beginning of a story.
