Its amazing what you hear when you listen. Like one time I heard a full divorcement arguement. Or a child saying the number of their dads AMEX. When I heard that, I was half tempted to steal the card but I didnt think I could pull it off (besides, half the shops I go to dont accept it). More people dont realise Im listening. Or choose to ignore it. Its suprising also how many soap operas there are in peoples lives. And how quickly you get tired of listening to them. My job is boring considering how many possibilities people thought I would have. I have always been a bit eccentric. Somewhere along the way I got a bit tired.I still have a good feeling inside when a cute little kid smiles, and waves up at me. I would wave back, but most of them wouldnt appreciate it. I also still feel a bit creeped out when adults stare at you like youre not there before ignoring you. Hey, news flash, just because you cant see it, I still have feelings. I guess Im a bit unreasonable on that point though.But aside from all these normal people there is one weird one thats been coming by my post recently. Just talking for hours. To no-one. Or himself. I pass most of my time listening to him. The guy could hold a decent conversation if he didnt belong in a mental institute. Talked to me about his career, his parents, his first love. I felt loved right then.I dont know why I decided to meet him. His kind of broken Korean, or the feeling that I really had not much better to do than go inquire about a guy who sits for hours talking to himself. So one day, I claim sick, and just go there. Hey, I might be batshit crazy to say hello to someone batshit crazy but at least we can be batshit crazy together.Hey, Im the one youve been talking to. Wow. Suprised myself there. Never thought the infamously weird Heechul could manage a boring of a greeting as that. But I guess he was suprised, because he looked up instantly. Wow. Another suprise. This guy looks so much hotter up close than from the camera. What? he says, and then remembering manners, says Umm.. hi? BCH (Batshit Crazy Hottie) said that. Like I was the mad one! Oh. Sometimes I forgot that detail. I pointed up to the camera right beside You know some of the security cameras actually have people monitering them. BCH had a look of realisation on his face. Oh. He said and then looked down in embarassement. Silence. Sorry about that. He finally said, looking vaguely like he was trying to re-evaluate all the things he had said recently. Your life is interesting. I tried to smile, but in past experience I look like either a gormless idiot or a pervert. At the last second I changed it to a smirk. Why are you lost for lines at the crucial moments, you idiot Heechul? Now BCHs going to think Im mocking him. I then realised like the genius I am, that I should really ask for his name. Hankyung. He said softly. Seems to have gotten over the whole random-stranger-knows-his-life-story thing. Next was something I didnt expect, and that says something. Want to go for a coffee sometime?
