When they moved to Madrid, I couldn’t have been happier. It was just me and my amazing big brother, well.. and my younger sister too. Kwang oppa was the closest thing I’d ever had to a parent. Sure, we’d all been raised with nannies, butlers, and chauffeurs, but they were only employees and had no real affection for us. Things were going really well without our parents. They sent us a monthly allowance and covered our living expenses so we didn’t have to work or anything. My life couldn’t have been better, until Kwang oppa went aboard for college and disappeared from my life. He hadn’t really disappeared, but knowing that he was no longer there filled me with a certain emptiness.I didn’t want to have to look after Jura, she was very educated for her age and as far as I was concerned, she was more than capable of taking care of herself. But Kwang oppa made me promise to look after her. We got along better after he left, since we were no longer competing for his attention. She always said that my heart turned to stone after he left. With Kwang oppa gone, I indulged myself in activities to prepare for my audition as a singer. I took voice lessons, studied different types of dance, and even started practicing taekwondo so that I could keep in shape. I didn’t make time for anything else, other than school. I tried my best not to get close to anyone. I had one best friend. Kim Kibum. We had been friends since childhood and shared everything together, shopping, gossip, you name it. Otherwise, I was pretty much a loner; things were just easier that way. Then came the day I met Lee Taemin, and he sent my entire world spiraling upside down.
