I pulled my beanie further over my head as my headphones swung loosely around my neck; the headphone not in my ear smacking against the strap of my bag every time I took a step. The pavement below my feet was cracked and hazardous meaning I had to spend my time looking at where my feet were treading and not where I was going. I hopped over the gaps in the worn out and weathered stone whilst humming to myself. I wanted the trip to be over quickly and to get to school without smacking into anyone. I went to step over another crack when I slammed into a warm body.
