With her eyes wide open, she looked away from her laptop and asked, "Ya, did you see the news?""Who watches the news in this decade. Eunji?" Jiyeon prodded with a tone of teasing, her attention never leaving the Chemistry book that she was reading."For someone as smart as you, I think that you do," Eunji answered with a pout.Seohyun, the girl who was brushing her long brown curls in front of the mirror, laughed, "I think that Jiyeon is being sarcastic, Eunji.""Actually, no," Jiyeon said with a smile. Swiveling her chair to face the two girls, she added, "I do not watch boring stuffs like that.""But not this," Eunji commented before facing the laptop to the two. "See this?" she asked with a point of her index finger to the screen."Hmm, that looks familiar," Seohyun mused, head tilted as she stared at the picture of a huge castle-like building, "I think Ive seen that place somewhere.""Ya!" Jiyeon gasped with wide eyes, "isnt that Hwangjun High?"Eunji smiled, "Yes. It is Hwangjun.""Hwangjun? Our brother school?" Seohyun questioned between the girls."Correct."With a raised brow, Jiyeon snapped, "Whats your point, Eunji?"A huge grin spread on Eunjis lips, "Do you remember the earthquake news last night?""Uh-huh," Jiyeon answered, looking more confused, "so?""Lets just say that Hwangjun isnt Hwangjun anymore.""Huh?" asked the two in unison."The schools a wreck, everything was destroyed— Hwangjun High is off the map..."&"Excuse me?" Chaewon blurted, blinking her eyes.The older woman sighed and leaned forward to her desk. "The Board of Directors had finally agreed to this so, its settled. I want you and Ilwoo to welcome them tomorrow morning."Chaewon looked down, unable to process what she just heard, "But how can this happen, Mrs. Jung? Changji cant easily become a co-ed school.""So does Hwangjun, Chaewon," the woman answered skeptically."Its a different story, Mrs. Jung," Chaewon defended as proper as she can, "the girls wont be able to adjust t—""Theyll be fine, its not like they havent been around boys in the past," Mrs. Jung said with a raised brow, confident that her words will end the discussion."I understand," Chaewon finally gave in, knowing that whatever she say to the Headmistress wouldnt change anything, "uhm... where would they stay, then?"The woman smiled at the English Lit teacher, "The abandoned building next to the girls dorm.""Oh," she exclaimed with a nod, "I see..."&"Aish! Im so tired," whined JB as he went out the bus, "seonsangnim, are you sure were still in Korea?"Joongki smiled and patted JB on the back. Facing the school in front of them, he stared at it in admiration— the place screamed that it really was a shcool for girls."Ah," Joongki heard from Taecyeon, "this must be the cleanest school Ive ever been before. I wonder if its the same with the students.""I believe so, yes."Everybody turned to face the speaker and was a bit taken aback to see that it was a young woman along with two female students beside her.She smiled, her arms crossed over her chest. She faced Joongki and bowed slightly before speaking, "You must be Hwangjuns 11th-Year Key Teacher?"It took Joongki a long moment to asnwer as he stared at the familiar face in front of him. Nodding back, he answered, "I am, yes."The young woman smiled a little bit more before looking at the brunette girl on her left. Taking the clipboard in the girls hand, she scanned the sheet of paper clipped on it before giving it to Joongki."This is the list that indicates the rooms the boys will be staying at," she informed. "Im Moon Chaewon, by the way."Again, Joongki spaced out for a moment before realizing that Chaewon was subtlely asking for his name. "Joongki. Song Joongki."Chaewon nodded in understanding before pointing at the girls beside her, "This is Kim Taeyeon, the student council President... and Victoria Song, the Vice-President. Theyll be the one who can help your boys about anything there is to learn. Feel free to ask them anything.""Is Kim Taeyeon single?" asked Kwon Jiyong behind Joongki.A sour and sarcastic smile spread to the blonde girls lips, "Yes... and eventually uninterested.""Oh, feisty," whispered Chunji, earning snickers from the other boys."Well, I see that were all being acquanted," Chaewon butted in, hiding her amusement, before turning around to walk, "lets go inside, then..." to be continued...
