A Million Minutes and Counting
If you were given a second chance, would you take it? Park Su Hwa found herself with a once-in-a-lifetime chance to correct her previous wrongdoings through opportunities given to her by a new show produced by SBS. Called "Second Chances", and appropriately so, its meant to help people achieve their dreams but with a catch- you have to work for it-. Given difficult tasks, the contestant must complete these tasks to their fullest extent, and if satisfactory, they may recieve an offer at the end of the show. Prologue:“Everyone has dreams of doing something but not all achieve it. Whether it’s the impossible or something that you’ve let slip out of your fingertips, not all hope is lost. It’s never too late to try and achieve something that may have been of the past. Do you or anyone you know have a dream that you’ve never been able to achieve? If so, contact us at 000-000-0000 today,” exclaimed the announcers voice through the television. “This is such a bad commercial, not to mention sketchy,” Ji Na muttered underneath her breath. “Even I could make a better one, that’s why I’m majoring in Marketing, aren’t I?” Glancing at the corner of her television, she saw SBS’s regular logo with the words, Second Chances, added underneath. Thinking back to the actual content of the commercial, she disregarded her favorite drama and opened a new tab in her internet browser. Ji Na typed in Second Chances in the search engine and patiently waited for the page to load up. She clicked on the first result, which lead her to a page on SBS’s website. “So this wasn’t sketchy after all.” That being said, she proceeded to read the page’s “About” section to find that it was a new type of variety show to help people get second chances. At the end of the page section there was a large flashing “Apply Now” button. Ji Na knew her next move was wrong but glancing towards Jin Sung’s door, she could hear the voice of a loving mother who had given up her dreams, as well as the boy’s father, just to give him a better life. With that thought in mind, Ji Na immediately clicked the button and filled out the application. Although she was thinking to herself,”What are the odds of Su Hwa actually getting chosen?”, deep in her mind she knew that’s what she wanted more than anything for her friend. ForewordHey guys, thanks so much for viewing this Fanfiction! I was inspired by the new USA Network reality TV Show, The Moment. So SBSs "Second Chances" is based on that except it will be in a WGM format-more than one person on the show but it will last a whole season-. The story starts on 3/8/2013, which is before Infinites comeback with Man in Love *hint hint*. I actually have most of the timeline planned out so if youd like to see it as long as my thought process and notes for the story just tell me so! I hope you enjoy it, comment, and subscribe below!PS, Sorry, I just honestly suck at summaries but if you do decide to read even after that, Id have to appluad you lol!
