Performances filled with fans.Rich clothing, thousands of awards flowing in.Albums flying off shops, hundreds of thousands of albums.Being able to do what I love most-sing.Having people commend my singing.Being surrounded by 11 brothers.Getting to do fun events, help the world, and collaborating with different artists.Being famous.This was the life of an idol.Saesang fans following me every single second of my life.Having to hide my exhaustion from having a packed schedule in front of my fans.Constantly always having a smiling face or a charismatic face, no matter if I was happy or sad, sick or not.Never being able to see my family.Never being able to be alone, by myself, with my thoughts.Lacking sleep.Seeing my ideal types in front of me, but being unable to talk to them.Being controlled by fans, never being able to love publicly.Being criticized for every mistake I make, every note I do not hit perfectly.Being hated on for what Im not. Arguing with the members every now and then.This was the life of an idol as well. ForewordHi guys!I hope you guys end up liking this one shot, and I hope some of you remember that just because they are idols, it doesnt mean they arent human. I see too many people complaining about idols these days. Just because you dont like a group, does that mean you should hate them?Criticism and commentary are one thing, but down right name calling and spewing hatred towards them is another. Theyre humans for goodness sakes.They have feelings. They hurt when you stab them with your hurtful words. They cry whenever theyre sad...They love.The fans are the reason why they cant do anything but smile. They practice for long hours, they have packed schedules. They run around from event to event. Theyre separated from their families. They work even on holidays. Its rare for them to even get breaks. Some walk around without any sleep, without any food.They try to become the ideal perfect image. But, its impossible to satisfy everyone. Theyre always in the eye of someone. They cant date whom they choose to freely. They cant do anything without upsetting at least one fan. They cant impress a large group without generating a group of anti-fans. However, they bear it all for the love of the fans.Why? Because this is the life they chose.They all want to sing, but they work hard in so many ways.Just for a while, a day if possible, lets forget all the hateful thoughts.Lets get rid of our petty jealousies.Lets let them breath.Lets let them live.I chose Baekhyun for this one shot simply because hes my bias, but this goes for all idols.This is all I have to say. ~!~
