A relationship that lasted for three months and nothing but a spark was between us. Yes... just a spark, it never ignited more than that. We remained friends, close friends even if we something shared in the past. We have moved on from that part of our relationship and had other relationships after, but ours remained special... Until one night... everything changed. Summer 2010 "Im here already, where are you?" he texted"Just arrived at the mall, but I dont know that place to meet you" she replied to his message"Its on the ground floor, near the food strip""ok. coming" she pressed send and hastened her steps towards the strip.  Minho found her turning her head searching, he was chuckling when he approached her. She didnt have to look far coz he was right in front of her. As they walked towards each other, big smiles was evident in their faces."Ah... finally" she said. They both hugged, having missed each other. Its been three years since Sulli left for the States. She got accepted in one of the Universities there to pursue her Masters Degree in Management. Though they were in good terms and are good friends, their communication wasnt constant since they were both busy with their matters. When she was done with her Masters, she cant help but tell him the news that shes finally going back to Seoul and take care of their small family business there."Youve changed" he said after releasing her from the hug "Looks like youre being taken care a lot there" "Ugh! lifes stressful there, if I hadnt been accepted to my dream University, i wouldnt have left home" she shared "and you look good by the way, hmm perhaps theres someone?" she teased tickling his side, he just smiled  December 2010Shes back for good. Since that summer, they never lost communication. At times they would go out with their friends like they used to. It was Minhos birthday, and he just invited his friends out to dinner. His family decided to take a vacation in Japan, but he cant go with them due to his work. Their usual drinking session at his apartment followed after the dinner.Sulli already had too many beers and she knew her limits, she excused herself from the others and head to the terrace for some fresh air. She gripped on the rails tight as she slightly leaned back and close her eyes, savoring the cool breeze of Winter, luckilly it wasnt snowing yet.Minho saw Sulli enjoying the breeze and decided to join her. "Enjoying much?" his low sultry voice startled Sulli that made her jump a little"Oh, its you... hmm... yeah... feeling numb yet still feeling the cool air is just relaxing" she returned to her position earlier.He stared at her for a while, taking in all her beauty. He inched closer to her as her innocent face was like inviting him."I miss you Ssul" he whishpered softly, hoping she would hear."I miss you too" she answered, though she didnt move from her spot while her eyes remained closed"Do you think we could give us another chance?" he clearly stated. The past months was like a walk down memory lane for both of them and he felt the same spark that lead them in to a relationship before. However, this time, he didnt feel just the spark, the feeling engulfed him whole. He took this chance, being alone, and had hopes that she might feel the same way.Sulli opened her eyes at his question. She stood and faced him with shock"Minho..." "I love you Ssul... Ive felt it since you came back... and --" "We cant." she shook her head, suddenly feeling that grip on her chest"Why not?" he searched for answers in her eyes. He held her arms, tight enough to not let her go but loosely to not hurt her. Sulli didnt speak, she couldnt hurt him, knowing that she too missed him, his presence, his protection, their time together was too special and felt like it was more than they had before... but she cant fool herself, she couldnt love him more than they did before... not anymore.She touched his hand and gripped it tight as he let go of her arm. He can already feel the pain of rejection as it was clearly showing in her eyes... he suddenly felt something with his fingers and glanced what it was... a ring... on her left ring finger. He looked up, in time a tear escaped her lonely eyes. "Im getting married, Minho. Im sorry"
