I’ve been burning my ass out for rehearsals for my upcoming major concert in Tokyo in the next few weeks. The concert’s a big news since I’m one of the biggest (not to mention prettiest) celebrities in Japan and pretty much all of East and Southeast Asia. Everybody’s anticipating it. Did I mention I’ll be releasing the music video for my latest single there too? Heck, yeah. It’s going to be big alright.                “Ugh!” I whined on the dance floor. “Manager, can’t I take a break just for once? I’m so freakin’ tired! If you continue making me work like this, I might not make it to the concert!”                “Stop complaining ___” manager said. Yeah, right. Make me. “I know that youre just going to be hanging out with your fling while youre out. I also know how you threaten to have each and every one of your trainers and backups fired if they don’t allow you to sneak out from rehearsals when I’m not here. You do know that fans and critics alike are expecting a lot from your concert since all the advertisements have been released and the publicities I’ve been trying really hard to spread regarding your change of image, right? Now don’t be such a whiney little brat or I will have YOU fired! I don’t give a damn if you’re an international superstar. The company made you, it can easily dump you too.” And that did it. I shut my damn mouth the whole time. Well, except for the part that I’m singing. So much for being a prima donna, I mumbled to myself.                “Oh, before I forget,” manager told me as he was about to leave for a meeting. “I know that it’s not right to interfere with your personal life, but please…Please be more discreet with your fling with that Thai singer. It’s gaining negative publicity already. Many of his female fans are already bashing you.”                “Don’t worry,” I answered. “Many of MY male fans are already bashing him too." I smirked. "Besides, it’s not just a fling – he’s my boyfriend.” I’m a heartthrob too, you know. And who cares? Golf’s mine.                “Not funny, ___” manager said. “You have a sweet, kawaii girl-next-door image to protect. I don’t want your antis ruining your image just because of a boy. Now off to practice!”                Sweet, kawaii girl-next-door image. Yeah right. At least the kawaii part is true.
