Welcome to MoDu High School. The most elite school in South Korea. Only the top and riches students in the world are able to enter the school. The school is famous for two things. They have every and any subject any child would have ever wanted to study and their basketball team. The school is not only known for their brains but brawns as well. The school will never fail to be the national champions in terms of basketball. Their school, however, offers an opportunity for talented students who wishes to enter their school using an activity, (especially basketball). Provided their grades are up to decor. But these students would be given a mentor till they reach the end of year 2 where their Mentors graduate. Usually the top few in school. They will only open up a maximum of 5 spaces.If youre wondering how theyll assign their mentors. When they enter year 1 theyll be assigned immediately. Their mentors are from the Year 2, top 5 in the cohort. ButHe didnt get in because of his father but through hisown hard work in both studies and basketball. Mentee: Yoon Jeonghan  Jeon Wonwoo, 18Major: Human Psychology (Study of the human brain)School Ranking: 2nd Activity: Librarian Personality: Introvert. He looks cold and is cold. But only to people he find annoying. He doesnt speak much (apart from telling people about the facts of Human Psychology). But if he does speakup, its to burn you deep at times. Thats the deepsecret sassiness he has in him. He was offered a scholarship for the results he got when he was in middle school. Thus ending up getting a spot in MoDu High. He is the head librarian of MoDu High.He issomeone very secretive. Secrets only his friends know. Inhis life the only people he ever trusted were his friends. Mentee: Kim Mingyu  Wen JunHui, 18Major: Chinese LiteratureSchool Rank: 3rd Activity: DramaPersonality: Cheeky, very playful like.But thats only on the outside. He has a secret past that not even his friends know about. Because of his past, hes become traumatic over things. He is Chinese who was also offered a scholarship to study at MoDu High. He is very talkative. The total opposite of Wonwoo. But if hes upset hell be quiet and drawn back.Total mommas boy.Seungkwan got him through his parents money.Its not like he wanted to but his parents insisted.Plus his parents own the whole of Jeju-do and one-fifthof the schools market. He was scouted by the dance teacher of MoDu High and was offered a place.However, because he did so well in year 1-jumpingfrom last few to 5th-, the school gave him a choice todrop his mentor. He hates studying.Hell grab every opportunity he has just to sleep. But when its time for Physical Education or talk to him aboutplaying sports, Hell be competitive and even do his bestto just trash you at it. People question him why doesnt he just join the basketball team, and he replies would be "Lazy~" Just by taking the subject about it would be enoughfor him.One things for sure is that Jeonghan got scouted not for sports but for singing. The weirdest thing was he was scouted by the principal who saw a video of him being dared to sing Because of you by After School, that wentviral. What motivated to study wasthe offer that they had for him, scholarship included. If hewasnt offered, hed probably have dropped out of school just toplay basketball. His parents gave up on him long ago on hislast year of middle school, when his teachers told them, he wouldnt be able to make it to High school. Who knew he would end up in the bestschool in South Korea. But he barely got in.So the only course that was available for him was Human Psychology.Mentor: Jeon Wonwoo Xu Minghao, 17Major: Chinese LiteratureActivity: WushuPersonality: Might look sweet on the outside but on the inside he maykill you anytime, if he ever feels threatened by what you say abouthim hell kill you if he has a chance to. But he has his secrets.He was scouted on the streets by the school supervisor who caught himin a fight with a local gangster, just because he stared at him.He was a school dropout who just lost his parents and quit just to work.The supervisorof the school ended up tailing them all the way to the police station wherehe bailed him out, offering him a spot. Provided he doesnt go back to fightingand goes back to school to study. He agreed and worked hard.Mentor: Wen Junhui Vernon Chwe Hansol, 17Major: Geographical ScienceActivity: Hip HopPersonality: Quiet innocent looking boy. Playful too. Loves to joke around and act funny. Secretly feels insecureabout how he is mixed American Korean. But nobodyknows about it. He got scouted by a school teacher when he took part ina freestyle rap and dance competition. Hansol got first placebut despite getting first there were many that despised himbecause he was different. But the teacher of MoDu saw it different.So he was offered a scholarship. But because he was so focused on Hip Hop, His results were bad. But he decided to give it a shot anddo his best. He ended up getting acceptedbut, like Mingyu, the Subject major wasnt a choice he had. Lee Jihoon, 17Major: Music and cultural History. Activity: ChoirPersonality: Demanding. When I say demanding Imean demanding attention. Because of the lack ofcare, he has received from his parents. Despite havingclose friends, hed rather be alone all the time. And whenhes alone hed be writing songs.Jihoon was introduced to MoDu High Music executivesby his teachers in middle school, for his songs that he had written. Jihoon has also did some covers on his song and even played his guitar, drum and even piano along withit. Jihoon was soon offered a place in MoDu High for theschools Choir, singer songwriter and musician. Hes parentswerent very supportive of the idea of him concentrating on musicso MoDu made a deal him that if he does well for his end year theyll offer Jihoon a scholarship and maybe even get Music executives to sign him if he does well at the end of his High School Years. Mentor: Kwon Soonyoung ForewordHEY!
