Summary:

Kris (Dragon) - Dragons were perceived as powerful, protective, and fearsome, and they were valued for their warlike qualities. They were often protectors of a treasure, and from this they can be symbolic of a most valiant defender. It as a heraldic charge may signify the faith, strength and selfless courage.Chanyeol (Phoenix)- The phoenix is a symbol from Greek mythology, of immortality, rebirth and renewal. It is also a symbol of love. It is often found as a symbol on a crest, accompanied by the flames that it rose out of renewed.Twelve brothers were born unaging -- mortal, but unaging; each one of them was born with an unbreakable bond to the earths elements.  All of of them lived in harmony, protecting the earth and only using their elements only for the greater good, unless needed otherwise -- until a certain argument had risen: which brother is the strongest? All of them believed that they each one had their own weaknesses and strenghts, therefore making them equal -- except for one. Fire: it was given to two of the brothers, Kris and Chanyeol. Everyone believed that Kris was stronger then Chanyeol, for he had greater control over his element compared to the latter. Chanyeol however, believed otherwise. He then separated from his brothers and lived alone. The eleven others searched for him, but he avoided him so well that it had been half a century already since their last encounter. What happens when he decides to end his little hide-and-seek game and finally see them? Foreword"The phoenix is just second to the dragon, huh?" Chanyeol mummbled and threw a ball of fire above. "The dragon is far more powerful than the phoenix huh?" He said, throwing a ball of fire to his right. "The dragon is the most powerful of all, huh?" He said, throwing a more powerful one in front of him. "Well see about that, hyung." Chanyeol chuckled and raised his right hand -- a huge flame shaped like a phoenix rose from behind him. "Hyung!" He shouted as he walked -- everything he stepped onto burst into flames. "Hyung! Im here!" He shouted louder, the phoenix flying sky-high.---------"Hes here," Yixing whispered. He immediately stood up and ran upstairs. He burst into Kris room, only to find the elder one standing on his balcony, watching the fire exhibition."Where are they?" Kris asked softly."Im here," Jongin answered immediately, teleporting into Kris room after seeing what was happening. "Gege, I mean.. Hyung," Yixing called out. "Are you really going to fight him?" He asked, worried. Kris shook his head. "No, I dont intend to. But I might have to counter some of his attacks." "Hyung, maybe I should go and talk to him first.." Jongin suggested thoughtfully. "Jongin, I cant risk that." "But hyung--" Kris turned around. "Leave everything to hyung, okay?" He smiled and headed for the door. He pat Jongins shoulders. "Can you  take care of Yixing first?" He whispered. "Hyung, you cant go alone." Jongin insisted."I can, and I will." Kris ruffled Jongins hair before walking out. "W-what do we do now?" Yixing asked, nervous and clearly worried. "I dont get any of this. Im sure that the dragon and the phoenix were meant to workd harmoniously."Jongin chuckled. Sometimes, he felt like Yixing was younger than he was. "Stay here," Jongin instructed."Huh? Why?" Yixing asked, more confused."Im going to fetch the others," Jongin answered. "Dont leave this place, okay? Im going to come back for you later." And in a blink of an eye, Jongin disappeared.Yixing looked outiside -- the a huge flame shaped like a dragon flew in the air. He took a deep breath. "So it begins.." He whispered.
