Impulsive, foolhardy, immature. These words describe Sungyeol, the crown prince of the dream world who holds the title of Morpheus; god of dreams.Disinterested in his royal duties he sets off for the human world with his bodyguard, Hoya, on a whim, angering his father Erebus in the process.While there his path crosses with Myungoo’s, a struggling university student trying to find his place in the world. Their chance encounter sets forth in motion a string of events that lead to Sungyeol’s sister, Princess Eris (Chorong), to launch a war against her own blood in an attempt to take over his throne and rule the dream world herself.    ForewordCast & CharactersMain CastLee Sungyeol; Morpheus (god of dreams). The eldest son from the Erebus/Nyx family, he will soon inheirit the Dream World from his father although hes often vocal about his wish not to. He meets Myungsoo after an impromptu visit to Earth. He takes an interest in Myungsoo for unknown reasons. He is often called "Prince" or "Morpheus" but only those close to him refer to him as "Sungyeol". Kim Myungsoo. The human whos path crosses with Sungyeols. Hes not sure what to do with his life and despite only knowing Sungyeol for a day he agrees to go with him to the Dream World. There is something about Sungyeol that draws Myungsoo in. His meeting with Sungyeol starts the beginning of the end. Park Chorong; Eris (goddess of chaos). Second eldest and second sister to Sungyeol, shes cold hearted and dissinterested in most things around her. She wants the throne, but isnt interested in boring means to obtain it. Shed much rather have some fun and cause a little ruckus to get what she desires.  Choi Jinri; Hemera (goddess of day). Youngest daughter of Erebus and Nyx, she is rather sickly and enjoys worrying about those around her. Her main companion in life is her maid, Krystal who accompaines her everywhere. Her powers are weaker than her siblings despite Sungjong being younger than her by a few hundred years. But her parents hope shes just a late bloomer. Lee Sungjong; Hypnos (god of sleep). The youngest of all his siblings, he was told from day one by his father that his only purpose in life was to serve his brother. He has taken that to heart and often completes his elder brothers duities for him. Sungyeol often feels that Sunjong would make a better king than he. He has been in a secret relationship with his brothers main bodygaurd, Hoya since they were teens. Lee Hoya (Howon); Phobetor/Ikelos (god of nightmares). Phoebetor is usually the title given to third eldest son of the Dream World, but as Erebus and Nyx only had two, Hoya was brought in from the outside and raised as the next god of nightmares and bodygaurd to his future king, Sungyeol. He is strong but very obedient to Sungyeol, but that doesnt mean they wont butt heads at times. His relationship with Sungjong is a mature and stable one. Minor Characters.Yoon Bomi; Iris (goddess of rainbows, messenger to the gods).The crown princess of her realm, she is meant to marry Sungyeol when they are both considered of age. Although she is a princess her primary duties are to oversee her familys post office. Thus, she rarely spends time with Sungyeol as they are often busy. She loves Sungyeol because it is her duty to love him. Since he is more of a stranger than most, she is a bit shy around him but is close to Chorong, his sister despite her cold exterior. Krystal (Soojung); maid to princess Jinri. Princess Jinris only maid in some respects. Although the princess has many maids at her disposal, she often only relies on Krystal. They were raised together since they were toddlers so the bond between them is strong. Some often whisper behind closed doors that the bond between them is too strong.  Kim Sunggyu; Myungsoos brother. Myungsoos older brother. He is a fledgling rocker looking to make his way to the top. So far, that hasnt come to fruition and hes beginning to feel frustrated. When his brother goes missing he must come to terms that one cant live life like a teenager forever. He possess a powerful voice that has gained him a few diehard fans on the indie circut. Nam Woohyun; Myungsoos best friend. He and Myungsoo have been close since they were in diapers, having grown up on the same block in the apartments across from one another. He is Myungsoos biggest champion and wants to see him do well in life and follow his dreams, not just resign to what he feel he must do. Often, he butts heads with Sunggyu as Woohyun views him as a lazy bum without a real job who put his own wants at the sacrifice of his little brothers. Jo Insung; Erebus (god of darkness).The father to the Dream World Quartet as he often says. He can be a charming man, full of cheer when in a good mood. But often he is stern and cold; not one for sugar coating things he says his words bluntly regardless of feelings. His relationship with his oldest son, Sungyeol is a temptious one. He can see the potential to be a great king in him but often pushes on responsibility a bit too hard. Moon Chaewon; Nyx (goddess of night).Her marriage to Erebus was an arranged one, they were meant for each other since they had been born. There is no love in their relationship however. Instead it is a marriage built on trust and not gettting in eachothers way. She gave him four children and deemed that plenty. Now she spends her time caring for the gardens and animals and making sure the servants are kept in line.Jang Dongwoo; Best friend to Sunggyu. A cheerful fellow who likes to play the drums, he met Sunggyu a while back when theyd been part of a band that has long since disbanded. He works part time in Hongdae, in a takoyaki stand. His primary job in the friend group is to make sure Woohyun and Sunggyu dont kill each other. He has a long time girlfriend, Amy, that he wishes to marry when he finally makes enough money.
