Foreword Byun Baekhyun was a happy little boy. He had many friends, he loved playing with his PlayStation, and he loved to sing, and he enjoyed trips to the ice cream shop with his mother. However, one night, Baekhyun and his mother decided to go to the ice cream shop. Baekhyun chose his favorite waffle cone with one scoop of vanilla, and one scoop of chocolate. He grabbed his mothers hand tightly as they exited the shop and began their journey home. It was dark and there was no one on the streets. Many shops were closed. Baekhyun tightened his grasp on his mother s hand as they continued walking. Suddenly, Baekhyun felt himself being pushed into an alleyway along with his mother. He turned to his mother who was still holding onto his hand. A man in a dark outfit hovered them, holding an object that resembled a knife. Baekhyuns eyes widened as the knife was heading towards his mother. The boy was paralyzed in fear as he watched his mother being brutally stabbed by this stranger. Baekhyun felt the tears falling as his mothers hand turned pale, and went limp in his hand. "Not one word, got it?" The man demanded to Baekhyun before he ran away. Indeed, from that moment on, not a single word left Baekhyuns mouth.After Mrs. Byuns tragic death, Baekhyuns father became crazy. He became abusive towards his son because he believed that if it wasnt for Baekhyun, he and his wife wouldve been living happily together for the rest of their lives. He turned to alchohol to help him feel better which only increased the abuse and neglect towards his poor son.School was probably worse. Baekhyun began to seperate from his group of friends. Obviously, who wanted to hang out with someone who was a mute? Abuse at school began when Baekhyun began high school. He was called a retard for not being able to speak and was verbally and physically offended. Baekhyun falls into depression and the only two things that keeps him alive is music and singing. He chooses to stay silent during conversations, but when it comes to music, Byun Baekhyun is never afraid to express his emotions through singing. The other thing that keeps him happy is a boy named Park Chanyeol. Park Chanyeol had ADHD. It was difficult for him to sit still and concentrate and liked to talk excessively. He becomes easily distracted and forgets basic things. He was a tranfer student at Baekhyuns high school due to his "accident" at his previous school. He fell in love with Baekhyun and his voice. Baekhyun helped him focus and Chanyeol loved to talk and he loved it how Baekhyun quietly listened. You dont love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear.
