Ballet was my life. To others, it might be something else.I considered myself a famous ballerina. Almost everyone in Korea and other parts of the world knew who I was. I knew that I was good, and I knew that I was an inspiration to others. Call me conceited, but I know Im not. I know what Im good at and what Im bad at.I have won various competitions and have been becoming closer and closer to achieving my goal: to become known worldwide.My life had never been better until two people decided to jump right into it and change everything. I didn’t know who they were—let alone knew what they did with their life, but they affected a big part of mine. I was forced to put everything to a stop. I didn’t have a choice. All I knew was that I had to listen. Reality just decided to kick me on the butt.Listening has never been a huge problem for me. I never learned how to not listen. I didnt realize that hearing those few words could make me lose everything. However, could losing something make you obtain something better?
