When will this end?As if someone read your mind, a hand made its way to the small of your back and guided you towards the waiting limousine at the end of the carpet. You looked up to meet the eyes of your handsome bodyguard, Jongin. Standing at 182 cm with his slightly tan complexion and fit body, he was truly a sight to behold but you would never say that out loud. It will only cause his ego to bloat. The photographers kept on taking your picture even after Jongin led you away and you noticed him glance back. You turned your head to him curiously. "What is it, Jongin?""Nothing." Jongin turned to look at you and shook his head. "Are you okay, Miss Ahra?"You nodded but Jongin knew your eyes grew distant and blank. He knew better than anyone else that you were tired and he knew what you truly wanted to achieve but he remained silent and alert for any possible occurrences. The limousine driver opened the door for the two of you and Jongin offered his hand. You took it and got in the backseat easily without having any problems with your glittering red off-shoulder gown. Jongin lowered his head and smiled. You always loved that smile because it would warm your heart and make you feel safe. He was your bodyguard after all. “Are you good to go, Miss Ahra?”“That’s ahra for you, Jongin.” You corrected while you narrowed your eyes at him but Jongin only chuckled. “I’ll be at the front seat, Miss Ahra. I’ll close the door now, okay?”You sighed and just nodded your head. He never called you by your name because it was always Miss Ahra, never just Ahra. He was always keen with keeping formalities because of his job. Jongin closed the door and made his way to the front seat then you heard that door open; the car shifted to the side a little before you heard it close. The engine roared and you massaged your temples while you leaned your back on your seat, the new trophy forgotten as you paid no attention to it whatsoever. Your mind was elsewhere while you blankly stared at the passing sceneries outside. It would always be like this after Award Ceremonies. The trophies would always be seated near you in the car but not in your hands because even when you received a lot of awards since the start of your acting career, they never made you truly happy. Only one thing and one person would make you happy but you just could not move on from the harsh reality and youve been trying to live with it for 9 years. Your fingers traced the sequins of your gown and felt the tears fall down your porcelain cheeks. The limousine passed by the high rised buildings of Seoul, headed to Ahras home and the sky wept with Ahra. The rain had startled the people of Seoul but then they took out their umbrellas and walked on to their appointments. A young man sat on top of a building and ignored the rain that had apparently not drenched him and his black suit. He tipped his black, vintage looking hat lower to cover his face as he frowned at one certain limousine.
